Tapered Roller Bearings
Tapered roller bearings are generally of separate design. The inner and outer rings of the bearing have tapered raceway. Generally, the inner ring, the roller and the cage form an inner ring assembly and an outer ring. The generatrix of the inner ring and outer ring raceway of tapered roller bearing and the center line of the roller intersect the shaft of the bearing at a point. The special structure of tapered roller bearings enables them to withstand combined loads.
Single-row tapered roller bearings can withstand radial load and axial load in a single direction. Its axial load capacity depends on the contact angle of the bearing. The larger the contact angle is, the higher the axial load capacity is.
